You're keep missing my point, and I see that there is no way to get it across to you simply based on all of the conversations you've had with the forum members including myself.
I couldn't care less if the Evo looked gaudy or how "rice" (as you call it) it is. All I said was that vortex generators do play a role when it comes to aero dynamics. You're entitled to your opinions, but to deny proven science facts without having an understanding of aero/fluid dynamics just because you feel that it looks retarded on certain vehicle is absurd. Like I said, I don't care for the Evo, but please try to separate subjective matters with objective matters if you wish to have a meaningful conversation.

Airplanes have been using them for a long time, and race cars have recently adopted the technology. If I'm not mistaken, Mitsubishi is probably the first manufacturer to apply it to their production vehicle.
Other auto makers probably don't use it mainly due to consumers as yourself who think it looks "gaudy/ rice" without having a clue about the benefits. *^_^*
