Motor Mount for Autocrossing

I'm getting ready to start autocrossing the MS3 and was wondering how necessary a new motor mount would be from those with autox experience.

Any suggestions on a good motor mount to buy would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Well most people say that it cut wheel hop and helps give you traction in first and second I would highly recommend it since most of the course you are in 2nd. I do not know from experience because my mount isn't here yet but I plan to track and auto-x the car. With what people are saying and how cheap it is why not just go for it.

i would suggest at least the rear motor mount....get the cp-e one its a great quality piece and it is real BEEFY...

as far as stepping up to all 3 motor mounts...if you have the cash to spend, go for it...it will def make the speed 3 feel different from stock...especially when you go WOT exiting out of the corner....the stock mounts have so much slack in them its ridiculous...i would suggest the medieval trans mount at the very least...I have that and the stock pass mount, it works great!

for autoXing, i would say go with the TRZ dogbone.

its hardcore and should be great for tracking

I agree ...trz. Auto x is a lot of on/off the trottle. Without a good mount your engine will be slamming around all over. Search around there are lots of mounts out there. None of them can take abuse like TRZ though.
