I am running a stage 3 6 Puck spec...its.nice but I wish I went tthe 3+ solid disk rather than the puck

I hated my 3+ for the simple reason that it didn't hold past 20psi of boost. Was very streetable though and should be fine for your build.

what would you recommend for past 20 psi? stage 5? cuz i wanna have around 400hp and might need to go past 20 psi

Did you not get slippage with the 3+ Brian? Anything over 20psi for me and that thing would let go.

I ran the clutchmasters fx400 6puck sprung on 8psi all last summer and it's completely streetable. It only chatters when I try to slip it in reverse.

Im prob just gonna go with the 3+ i dont think ill need much more than that even though i do think i could drive with a puck clutch on the street

puck on the street isnt bad, i don't mind it that much. its not difficult to drive but its not very forgiving if your off with your engagement timing. grips like a mofo though

Ya i cant see a puck clutch being all that bad. Still thinking about getting one lol hey were did you get ur cam gears from?

I bought them off another forum member last year but they didn't work with my stock ecu and I didn't feel like figuring out why so I took them off.

Your new engine wiring harness doesn't have a plug for the VTCS? I guess it is for an MP3 or something, that's cool. Does it give you a CEL? Are the VTCS flaps still in the intake?

Ya the flaps are still there It does give me an engine light. My car runs really bad at high rpm cuz the flaps wont open. I dont know what the hell mazda did cuz they orderd the harness through my vin. Guess there just tripping out as usual. There gonna have mazda engineering look into it apparently. Oh well bump for new clutch order soon

Bump got the right harness installed today. Got a few trouble codes should be all good tommorow. Stage 3+ is being shipped to me along with lightweight spec flywheel. Now just trying to figure if i should go with 1000cc injectors or not

Why go that big for injectors? I hadn't even maxed out 600's at over 30psi of boost.
