What would be the best mod for better performance? A header, eibach pro-kit, or custom cat back? I already have a K&N CAI and racing beat axle back. But I can't decide what to do next. Header or springs will bump me up in to prepared class, cat back would keep me in stock class. As far as the custom cat-back, I'm looking at a Magnaflow dual muffler system with custom 2 1/4" piping.

I say do the cat-back, and just get used to auto-xing in the stock class before you go up a stage, get more experience. Unless you have experience, and think you can hang with thw big boys, in which case, I say get the header.

The most useful mod you can make to the car is the driver. Attending some autocross driving schools such as the Evolution school will cut your times down by seconds. The next most useful are the correct tires. Either "R" tires for the sock classes or the Azenis for the ST classes will reuce your times by one or two seconds.

Of course all this is only my opinion. What ever way you chose to go, good luck and have fun.

Yeah, I understand seat time, seat time, seat time, tomorrow I am doing an 8 hour scca soloII driving school. But I'm thinking about moving up to prepared class, so again, which mod would gain me the best performance? I have pretty good Kumho tires already, but am also thinking of getting some Falken Azenis. The only problem with that is, I'd go with 15's and would have to buy rims too. Financially the head.,cat.,eibach, would be cheaper.

But the power would be wasted on your limited traction. Adding tires to a stock Plymoth Breeze would net better times than adding more power.

falken azenis are the best street tire.. r compound are a little faster but cost more and you will need rims for those..id do the azenis on your current wheels..also remove the front strut and rotate the upper mount, this will give you more camber and caster.. ill give you a link with instrutions.. also i remove the upper airbox peice (the one above the radator) dont not remove the bottom peice, you will lose much TQ if you do.. i also remove my filter if its not dusty and spray tire shine or k&n filter oil in the bottom of the air box, this will help catch some dust and i wipe it out when im finished, never been dirty.... tires are most important and then a good alinement.. seat time is a must, the more you drive the fast you will be.......
