Well, I realized today my front passenger CV boot is cracked and going to need to be replaced... still under warranty so I guess Im going to bring it to the dealershit again cause its free.... has anyone else had this problem yet? suggestions?

Oh well at least it's at no cost to you. Maybe stop driving like a maniac. What symptoms did you have to cause you to diagnose that?

Well, at least it is not a huge problem.. My car broke decently bad today... I will be posting a new thread on it....

When you turn the wheel to the right you can hear a clicking noise coming from the wheel well- they when you look down there, you can see the actual crack in it... I have an apt. for Thursday to get it fixed :) Its just one of those things that will eventually wear out from hard cornering.... understandable.

ha ha ha... sooo... i was totally wrong. According the the print out I received:

" Front right insulated strut tower and tightened loose bolts on right front shock absorber. "

Probably from lowering it??? Im super suprised they fixed it! Apparently the people that worked on my car today dont know what stock springs on these things look like!

if your CV boot fails, you will have grease spun just about everywhere long before you hear any clicking or other noises

Ya know, I still think there is a crack in my CV boot though cause its visible and there are marks on my driveway near where i park that look like wet spots and they wont dry. . . Is this something that I should take it in for right away?

you must not be beating your speed enough, I never had any problems and you know the daily beating my car recieved.

my problem...

I'm getting some serious BUCKING! like my car is an angry horse. got CAI and catless exhaust only. it bucks when hard accelorating in 2nd, 3rd, 4th. May have something to do with the cold it has happened only the last few days.

car runs perfect otherwise, any ideas??? thanks

I'm voting for the cold ass temps outside and your psychotic driving tendencies. My car did this the first winter I had it with just the CS exhaust and nothing else at stock boost. Maxing out the MAF voltage I think. Can't be good for the car.

the longer you wait, the more likely it is you will need a new CV joint and not just a boot. at that point they will replace the axle shaft itself.
