I have a 2007 CX-7 with the Autodim/Compass mirror already installed... I purchased an Autodim/Compass/Homelink mirror... can I just do a direct swap? or do I have to buy the "install kit"?
Yes, you can. The same connector will fit into the new mirror as it did the old one. You will not need to run new wires or purchase anything aside from the new mirror itself.
