I have a 2003.5 msp I bought the GReddy SP-2 Catback exhaust, and im wondering if there is anyway to make the car louder? I just have the exahust and a cold air intake. Let me know if you think I need to add more to the car to would make it louder? Sorry if this is a stupid question but any help with be greatly enjoyed.

Well doing a full turbo back exhaust or an exhaust dump would definetly make the car much louder

im really new to the game. What is an exhaust dump?

It is basically a part of the exhaust that comes right off the turbo and just dumps open instead of sending the exhaust pressure out of the muffler so it comes out almost immediately without being restricted

A down pipe will alos make it louder and make the turbo spool up much faster. ApexR1 has one that will bolt up to your sp2 and s-pipe. Here is the link http://www.apexr1.com/apmado.html And some pics of the dump pipe.

check out ATP's website. They have an awesome exhaust dump/cut out system for around 285 I believe. It's available in 2, 2.25, 2.5, and 3 inch. It is boost actuated. Just run a vacuum line to an actuator and your golden. The only hard work or labor costs would be getting the piece welded in to your system. Or just ditch the greddy system since it's quiet and doesn't render much power anyways.

I'd suggest the GHL 3" turboback or the Vibrant 3". They're both going to give you the loud results you want, but make sure that you're not too loud as to not attract unwanted attention...

just get a catless midpipe. it cheap, loud as hell, and gives the best performance gains while keeping the greddy exhaust u already have.

Hey thanks for the advice, I have one more question. Do I need to get it in the 3inch size or will the down pipe fit with either size? Also is there anything else I need to install it, or will it just fit no problem with my current set up.

If you want a loud exhaust, the Greddy SP2 is not going to be it with or without a downpipe. I run a catless downpipe with the SP2 and its not loud at all, which is why I love it. The sound picks up under throttle though, but its in no way loud.

remove the resonator. you'll free up a restriction and add a little noise while you're at it.
