The Capri and the Miata are basically the same....yes....same as the older 323 too.

isnt the little capri FRONT wheel drive? miata's are REAR wheel drive. i think the basic engine's are the same, but nothing else is even close.

For the most part engine is the same.
Yes the Capri is fwd.

Anyway the exhaust should fit. But being the miata has the diff in the rear you may have to do a chop job.
Intake should be ok.

edit - and the intake is going to be completely different. if you know ANYTHING at all about either car, you'd know that. the only thing that would be interchangeable between the two would be anything labeled "Universal" (like those muffler whistles - WOOT-WOOT!!)

The Miata and Capri share the same head and cylinder block. That's it. Outside of that, nothing is equally interchangable. This includes all intake, exhaust, and turbo (Capri XR2) components. They are two completely different cars that happen to share a similar engine family. As previously stated, the Capri is front-wheel-drive while the Miata is rear driven.
