UPDATE 2:
Well, i talked to the lady at Tropical Park, and this is the break down.
Pavilion for 120 ppl or 80 comfortable $250. 150 for rent and 100 deposit that would be given back by check on the mail.
I personally think is too much money for such a small meet, i was thinking about another park, or not renting a pavilion, since tropical park has grills without pavilions, i dont see why can't we sit on the grass...for sure you won't be wearing your silk pants or skirts.
This way, we could arrange something about parking for cheaper and use the rest of the money for the BBQ.
I was thinking about 10 bucks for whoever wants to eat. That's if we're gonna BBQ, or we can also hit Pollo Tropical and have them cook for us, they have some mean RIBS and CHICKEN.
There's one pretty close and i think we can work something out.
Still, it would be 10 bucks, unless you don't wanna eat.
Prizes? well, this s*** aint mazdapalooza...so NO prices...i don't think ppl aren't gonna come because we aren't giving away plastic trophies for your ride.
Is just a gathering....most likely done 1 month from now on a weekend.
We need to start a list of who's comming
Later, i can set up a paypal for the money...is not final if it will be 10 bucks..
i'm doing this alone, so anyone willing to help it'll be gladly appreciated..

i chose Tropical Park because is right off the Palmetto highway, is a nice, family-oriented park.
any input on this would be greatly appreciated..
This is NON-PROFIT so don't think i'm making any money off..but i'll try hard not to loose money either

I really wanna do this...this would be the first meet i plan so if anyone wants to help, you are more than welcome.

i have sent e-mail and i'm planning on calling tomorrow to ask about how it works to reserve parking and a dome.
we need to set a day 1 or 2 months from now so that people can ask for days off...
I find it better to be done on a Sunday, since ALMOST everyone has sunday off...but sat is good for someone who plans to drive alot.
I believe miami deserves a chance at a mazdameet, hasn't been done..not that i know of.
You may PM me with opinions, suggestions or anything else you may think is worth.
