Mazdaspeed6 engine?

I was trying to do a search on it but could not find the info I was looking for. Will the mazdaspeed6 be using the same 2.3L engine as the regular 6 or will it come with stronger internals or what? Also what size turbo will it be equipped with? thanks

Its a nice built up engine, but its had issues in production with both the turbo's and the DFI, so reliability will be a ? until the second batch is avail.

I do know for a fact they went from a cast iron crank to a forged steel crank. Since the rods in the standard 6i are sinter forged steel, I'd assume they are also forged in the DFI MPS 6 engine as well. The pistons are at least hyperleutic with moly coating on the crown and graphite coating on the skirt. Don't know 100% if they are forged or not.
