I had friends here in DFW run 20psi on a bone stock block with a J&S and MPI tuner... stock injectors and fuel pump... the motor held fine!
one is now built up because the WGA failed and ran full boost, and ALL IT DID was broke a ring land in the piston... the broken piston DID NOT **** up the cylinder walls, and NO metal trash went into the oil/engine... the engine was clean as hell when I tore it down... it burned oil like a motherfucker because of that though.... but, had the J&S not been there, the rod would've waved hi to everyone
another blew up because the retard was too lazy to check his oil, so it ran low and went boom... no tuning fault, not J&S's fault, not fuel's fault... just plain stupidity
when you hear or see ping on a light, it's already too late... I'll ask this again... is your foot faster or the computer?
