ok, so my msp is about to hit 100k miles and i want to do something special to celebrate
the engine is smoking, but i think is the turbo, not the engine.
i could go all out and buy pistons, rods and a bunch of other crap and make the 2l engine stronger OR...
i could swap out the anemic engine for another one.
here's where it gets interesting...
talking to some people that have 99 or lower proteges, they tell me do a 1.8l BP engine swap...or BPT.
now, they use the same g series tranny as the 2.0l uses, so i still can use my MSP transmission wihtout much modification.
has anyone ever thought about this?
