Mazdaspeed Pricing

I say we band to gether and fight back against lame dealers who think they can over price these cars and screw people that really want them. Every dealership I went to wanted me to pay 22,000 to 24,000 for my car and that is without tax and lisence. Plus they tried to F around with my financing. So I went to my Credit Union. Luckily my sister works there so I got hooked up with a sick loan. Then the car broker that worked at her branch got on the phone with a bunch of dealerships and made them a compete like nuts for my buisness. (plus it was the last day of the month at seven pm, which does help a bit) Anyways long story short I got it that night for 19,300 us dollars (21,030 out the door with tax tittle and lisence). So if any of you are in the market for a new or used mazdaspeed do not pay over 19,300 and if a dealership tries to make you, tell me and I will give you my car brokers #. So here is what I am thinking just to get a idea of what these cars are selling for in north america, everyone should post what they paid for theirs. Make sure to post your price before tax and lisence and what you paid total minus your financing fees. This could be helpful to those people out in the market for one. God knows it would have been useful to me!

How do you go about getting a Credit union to do your loan?

Also what is a car broker and what do you owe them whenthe deal is done?

That's about the price for mine, since I work for the dealership they sold it to me for the same price they bought it for.

First you have to be part of a credit union to get a loan from them. so find a credit union in your area and join one they are way nicer than a normal bank.
You don't owe the broker anything. The dealership and the broker split what ever small amount of money they make off of you on the car (and it usualy is a small amount of$) the can afford to do this because they help lots of people buy cars every day. I have found that car broker pricing is even better than fleet pricing.

Damn, good show!
I have a friend who works for mazda and they told him that because of the limited production they were not going to give him a deal. he was going to pay full msrp like everyone else.

So how do you join a credit union and what are the draw backs?

there are none! They are just like a bank but the are smaller and member owned, they have lower interest rates on loans and the people are a hell of alot nicer. I even know my branch managers name and stuff, she says hi to me every time I come in. look around on the net you can probably find some in your area. Plus if anyone in your family is a teacher you can get in to a teacher credit union.

I take it thats close family only like mother or father not an Uncle?
Thanks for the tips.
Can they still help you to find a deal even if they seller is offering 0 percent apr?

Well I got my car at S-plan price with an extended warranty and at 5.99% w/tax,title, tags for 20g's. No haggling! It is sweet when you just go in and say I want and they jump! It puts all of them on their toes and makes you laugh when you know they wish you were someone else who was willing to pay 2g's over MSRP!

Now what I really want to hear is some sob story about someone who spent 24g's on this car because they didn't bother to haggle with the dealer about the gay ass mark-ups

with the 2003.5's coming, who the hell would pay over msrp for a 2003?

Dealer know that they have to sell them fast.

Just called my fleet manager at irvine mazda and asked if the pricing might be droping due to the arrival of the 03.5s (my sisters boyfriend wants one) And her answer was: NOPE! they are still in just as high as demand as when the rolled the first one on the lot, infact some people will pay just as much to get the color choice. She said: look at this way there are about 30 protege 5's on our lot right now and we have only had 8 mazdaspeeds all year. We know people want them and we are going tto get every last dime they are worth. She procceded to tell me that she wouldn't even be able to match my price for my sis's boyfriend (b****).
Looks ike you got a case of the old "Wishful thinking" Newf.
If you run into a different response tell me and I am moving back to canada where people are still nice.

Just walk into different dealers set the price at the very first moment and walk out if they say no.
