Mazdaspeed ECU

Has anyone tried an ECU from a Mazdaspeed on a turbo'd MP3/P5? I was thinking of this as being a possible solution for our timing/fuel issues. I should be getting my turbo kit any day now(right Terry?? J/K) and was thinking about trying this as long as I don't get soaked big time for a core charge. Any input would be appreciated.

You Too! I am also awaiting my Turbo from Spool, hopefully shipped by the end of next week.

The MSP ECU debate has come up many times on the boards. Its not the debate if they will work or not, but getting one is the problem. Mazda will not sell you one unless you own a MSP.

Spool as you may know is working on a true stand alone unit. This will be way better than a stock ECU, and possibly in the same price range, if not, than slightly more, but will come with larger injectors.

I've got ways of possibly getting a Msp ecu. The more and more I think about it, I'm just going to wait for either Terry's stage 4 or Perf's piggyback. I was just kind of kicking it around and getting anxious.
