Mazdaspeed 6 pricing

I'm not too familiar with the actual value of these cars. I took a Mazdaspeed 6 for a test drive, and really liked it.

The dealer had 4 of them on the lot, but offered me the following at $25,500

2007 Mazdaspeed 6
GT w/ sunroof
130 miles

I'm not sure if this is a decent deal, I know the car has been sitting on their lot a while. The battery was dead when we went to go test drive the car...

The need for higher octane gas worries me about this car, but what should I be looking at paying?

Its black. My only fear is that this thing has been on the lot so long, its already 2 years old basically (even though there are no 09 speed6s).

an 07 gt with sunroof for 25k? I say do it. This car is awsome. Its sporty and classy at the same time. I paid i think 29k for my gt with no sunroof.

whether its been sitting there or not, if your really concerned as soon as you get it, change the oil (with synthetic obviously) have a shop double check all the under fluids, your gunna have to drive it to wear off the condensation rust on the rotors, and youll be good. if ur not gunna buy it atleast take some pics and post it, there's quite a few pple that are looking.

If the dealer offered 25.5k, let the negotiations begin. Seriously, the car is 2 years old, make a really lowball counter-offer and see where it goes from there. If he has 4 on the lot, there not going anywhere real soon. Take your time and research all the negotiation tips you can find. And use them all.

yeah, its not a bad price, but i would try to get them down to like 23-24 or so. thats a 32k sticker car, but they didn't sell that well, and its a couple years old now.

I got my speed6 with everything except navi for 21K.

Than again had over 16k miles.

I think it's a good deal..as it has such low miles.

Amazing Deal. MS6's really got hit by depreciation hard huh. Such a shame as they are really nice cars too.

Only paid $17700 for a 2006 MS6 Sport with less than 12,000 miles back in January. It had been on the lot for 4 months.

Thanks everyone for all their input.

I called back today, interestingly enough, they mentioned to me something about a rebate that was offered back in March, and that for this reason, the warranty for the car is already 3 months old. I guess they acquired the car from elsewhere, but it still has never been titled.

Does anybody know in particular what rebate and the amount? I'd like to know how much of this rebate they are factoring into the money they are already taking out.

The rebate back in March was $4,000. I got a Grand Touring with nothing in it, 8 miles on it for 25,800 out the door. They gave us $6,500 dollars off.

The dealer wouldn't move from $25,500, saying they were already losing $500 on the deal.

I told them they could do better than that, and if they weren't willing to work with me, i'd take my business elsewhere.

For perspective, I sold my 2006 MS6 (factory Nav, factory sirius, autodim mirror, shock sensor) for $20000 to a private party about two months ago with 34000 miles on it. I did include the factory mazdaspeed forged RAYS rims I had for it also though. I thought it was a fair price to get for the car since I had put alot of miles on it and this model got hammered with depreciation also. I really liked it though while I had it. I just go though alot of cars by nature.

I have noticed that alot of people trying to sell these cars on the private party ads are really holding out for way too much....they are trying to get $24000 and $25000 for 06's. I wouldnt shy away from an 06 though, you can still get a new clutch for free from the dealer if it hasnt been replaced, and they have the 4 year warranty whereas the 07's only have the three year. So the coverage limits may be the same.

I decided to bite the bullet and bought the car for $25,000. Good deal, maybe not great, but these things are rare, and one of the few cars that had all the features and performance I wanted.

Now some quick pics I took with my phone:
