Mazda6 Gen1
Hello guys. Nice to meet you all. I am Alex and i am the owner of a mazda6 1.8l Gen1 which i modified it to turbo.
My modifications below:
Wiseco pistons
Carillo rods
Garrett gt2560r turbo
cast iron turbo manifold with external wastegate
Turbosmart external wastegate.
3" downpipe.
apexi avcr boosto controller.
Used to have a custom made intake manifold which was apsolutely wrong i throw it to the garbage and installed a cosworth intake.
Used to have 4 extra injectors dump that too to the garbage bought 4 bigger ones 550cc RC engineering
Defi boost exhaust and oil temp gauges.
Used to have a small ecu to control the xtra injectors now i have a greddy emanage ultimate .
4piston brembo brakes.
18" wheels
custom intercooler which maybe ill change in the near future.
The car is now at the tuner for programming but before i install the cossie intake and change the 4xtra injectors with 4 bigger ones the dyno showed 270 hp on crank.
If i forget something ill edit this post .

Some pictures of the car below

Nice car! Do you now how much power your putting down, looks like your car was on a dyno in one of the pics. Any vids as well?

Nice work! not many turbo'd MZ6 around.

all the way in Greece! you must get some hefty torque steer no? like the MS3 guys.
pretty nice size turbo giving you some respectable numbers! keep it up.

Impressive work, not too many people go to that extent. +1 for seeing some videos of this thing going.

Almost two years since my last post so i am giving you all an update . Because the car had a lot of problems after the programme like stalling when start moving from idling or when changing gears during wot after i broke my tranny during the installation of the mazdaspeed3 tranny i tried to find why i had all these problems. My programmer told me that it was because of the cosworth maniflold and bigger throttle body and he wanted me to change to a stand alone to see results even if he recommended the emanage ultimate from the beggining. I was telling him that many from USA had the emanage and had problems and he was laughing. Anyway during the year that the car was sitting i found two leaks bettween the turbo and the airflow and that open bov was the reason for the lag between gears. So i fixed everything and when the tranny was finally installed and went out for test there was no stalling anymore. I called the programmer and when he came he told me that the greddy map sensor wasnt working. I wondered than how did it broke, the car was sitting and it was in a secure place. So i changed it and for the first time i connected my laptop to see if it works. Than i noticed that the airflow wasnt connected and also the ignition. I also noticed that in every map everything was zero and only at the injector map had some numbers. After that the programmer wasnt picking up phones . Another programmer came from another town to tune some customers cars and he sitted to my car also. After a week he tuned the car to be more decent but it seems to me that i have to move to a standalone since from what i read that mazda6 ecu is much more clever than the emanage and leans fuel and need to be reset is true.
But the car seems better than before and i feel much more confident now.
Thats my latest news.
