looks good man, how much of a drop is that and what did u use?
with the low pros on the front its around a 3" to 3 1/4", spring drop is around 2-2 1/2" i used a cutting wheel and cut them while they were on the car (thumb)

How come you guys haven't changed the rims? Or is that next??

looks tight man but what if you wanna add bigger rims like 18s or 19s. i guess you would be havin to buy new springs . LOoks tight though i dont think i could handle that in utah especially with the bad ass roads here. I might jam up my car in some ****** pothole.

hey vivid. welcome to the forum finally. we met at the pavilions a while back. i was part of the p5 crowd that was across from you. there are finally some springs that are out for the mazda3. tirerack has them listed. the drop won't be as low as yours, but at least you won't be riding around on cut springs. good job with the intake!

Why the staggered wheels? Wouldn't that make the car handle worse?

Another question: Did you do anything to compensate for the speedo error with the smaller fronts?

lets see if i can answer everyones question in one sentence....rims.. i love my rims and dont want to change them unless the car is going fully show, it rides just as good as any normaly lowered car, i've tested 18's on it and it was perfectly fine, staggered tire size because if i go low pro in the rear it's so low I get stuck on speed bumps at my apartment (wiggle) , I am very please with the way the intake turned out and performs..around 5-7krpm it sounds like a jet and has a smooth roar to it, not like those hondas where it just gets loud, thank you for the welcoming, i think i remember talking to you a while ago over at the car show, and even when springs come out.. im not going to get them unless they ar coilovers because i love how low my car is and i can't stand owning a car that isnt dropped, I'll be there on Saturday by the way, and last but not least.. speedo is fine, had a police officer clock me for a favor while i was going exactly 40 to my knowledge and his gun said 40.3 so i guess it's almost on the dot since i dont have electronic speedo (headbang)

you sir suck,jk. that looks awesome. your 3 is the very first one i have seen that i have liked, i guess i just had to see one dropped. not a big fan of the new body i guess, but your's is sweet lookin.

Your a dumbass for what you have done to your car!!

I have an opinion and its about your ride. First of all you never cut your springs. its going to cause your car to bounce very hard over bumps as well as time goes by they will shrink and your going to have to get new springs. If you were smart you would have bought eibach springs that were made for lowering. I did the same thing to my old mustang by cutting the springs and I screwed up my car tremendously having to buy new springs. Give it some time and you will regret doing what you have just done. Second of all thats a nice looking intake but if you now your car the engine bay is a sucker for getting extremely hot so all your doing is actually hurting the performance of your car after its heated up to operating temperature. You will be sucking hot air into your intake causing poor performance. You should of just kept your original intake system since it actually does collect cold air from below the engine compartment. Short ram intakes or worthless. You should wait to get the cold air intakes to really see some gains. I am waiting to get my free intake from K@N since i let them use my car for testing. You may have the first intake but your not very smart for using it. Sorry man I know from experience of having several modded cars before this.

For real.

Mazda3hatchback: So about the mustang you had, did you ever get it fixed or what? I have a friend that just did that..should I tell them theyt screwed up?
