Would there be any interest in a kit that would come with the needed material and a CD-ROM with well written (and tons of pictures) directions on how to do this? If so, it would be under $20 and you would need only some fairly basic tools to do it.

Go here for an idea of what I mean: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79007 (Protege shown, have not made ones for Mazda 3 yet).

If someone sends me their amber inserts, I will make them a free set.

Edit: No takers??(boom07)

Can you get any more pictures of it from different angles, possibly on a 3? I could be interested possibly but not sure if it'd be worth it since I am going to order some smoke Rockblocker overlays.

I am gauging interest, nothing is made yet, therefore pictures are difficult at this point.

ur talking about those yellow pieces on the side?? i hate those things. If i ever took my headlights apart ide be interesed, but only if i was already taking them apart.
Here are some pics so everyone else can see what hes talking about, it would be that orange reflector thingie between the headlight and the turn signal. I think.

I'd be down most likely, depending on cost and installation difficulty since I am not too good at installing thangs.

That's right...the amber ("yellow") reflectors in the headlamp housing. The kit would likely not cost more than $20.

Check my other post on the protege install to get a good idea of what's involved.

anyone thats checked out the angel eyes should know whats involved, you would have to bake the headlight and then pry it apart. Right???

While the craftsmanship looks good, The whiteish color seems to stand out just as much as the amber does, just dosen't flow IMHO.

Might look quite nice on the MZ3 though, seeing that it's a very different design/placement. The whiteish color would definetely match the OEM sidemarkers nicely.

just an FYI for the people who want the "JDM look"... the JDM headlights also have that amber "corner"... so installing a clear isn't going to make your car "JDM style"

thanks for the feedback. I think I will withdraw the offer to make these. Thanks for everyone's comments, and if I ever get a MS3, then I will be the only one to have these! lol!
