You can have a decat exhaust but a you'll also have a cel.

I never had a cel with my aftermarket cat because the sensors were relocated. If they are not relocated properly you will have a cell.

Anyway,in order to have maximum benefit from your exhaust and induction system an ecu tuning must be done at hte end.Unfortunatelly I havent tune my ecu yet but I hope to do so soon.

Where must it be relocated to? I want to know so that I can check that the guys here don't make a mess of it. My car is chipped which resolves the ECU map a bit, but we really need to get someone to remap it, in my country Mazda2 aftermarket parts are non-existent.

I dont know exactly how the sensors should be relocated. At the first post of this topic you can see where are my sensors, one before and the other after the cat.

What do you mean "chipped"?You have tuned your ecu?

interesting (peep)

I have a chip between the sensors and the ecu, it modifies the values which ups the power to 82kw, we work in kw's. It makes the car much more driveable. This works but a ECU remap is still the ideal, there are more chips on the market these days but i had 2. A unichip and a petrolpower chip, you can remove it before servicing the car for the warranty too.

My funky wheels for track use.I'll try Hankook z209 195/580/15 infront and toyo R888 105/50 at rear!
