I may just have to find my way over there Carl. Thanks for posting this up. Are the majority of cars at these meets Miata's or RX's? I wouldn't mind checking out some nice rotary beauty.

I'm a fairly new member so, based on the last meeting there were a good mix of Miata's and RX-7's. I was the only Protege of about a dozen or so people. It was a pretty good mix of people with tuning and racing as a common characteristic.

We'd like to see some Mazda6's and RX-8's participate as well.

I can only be there for an hour or so at this coming meeting but, the last time I was there until 10 or so. Great bunch of folks.

****!!!! I live in RTP but I'm in San Jose all this week and won't get back until the 10th.......dammit !!!!

Just a reminder that the meeting is still scheduled. It would be really nice to have some more Mazda enthusiasts come join us. Feel free to PM or email me with any questions.

Thanks,
Carl

Sorry you can't make it, sycho... We meet every month, though... First Friday of the month. Maybe next month...

There's a Chinese restaurant next to the Food Lion... which is where we'll be after 8. The first half hour is spent around our cars in the parking lot.... looking over mods, etc. So, if you're later than 8, head into the restaurant.

Just wanted to say thanks to the guys from Pro Mazda for showing up and adding to the mix of Mazda enthusiasts. It was great meeting you all and hope to see you again.

Xelderx was considering an AWD conversion of a P5... what an interesting project and hope to hear more about it!

If the other folks that were there have some more to add, please feel free to chime in. I had to leave early because I had my wife's entire family in town this weekend. This is the first break I've gotten and I'm ready to relax.

So, thanks again!

This was definetly a good time. I'm glad I got to meet up with everyone and get a better understanding about racing setups and being involved with SCCA. We'll be in touch.
