My Mazda manual transmission is stuck in 2nd gear- any idea what it would take to fix.91 Mazda MPV manual transmission- It stalled in a snow bank and stalled at that time the stick would no longer change gears, Clutch seems fine moves without issue.
I tried forcing the stick but to no avail.

Obviously I can take this to a transmission shop - If I did any ideas of what it might cost?

Is this something some handy folks might be able to fix themselves? we are also looking for a a mazda service center in Edmont like http://apexspecialized.ca/ and we also would like to know the major service stations in the city of Alberta
