Ok my car comes out of the body shop tuesday. i figured hell might as well get my oil changed that day too... and since ill go to the dealership ill get my squeks fiixed as well.. so i called the dealership up to make an appiontment.. explained the squaks (this would be the 3rd time ive had it sent in about the bushing squeks) and he said he could lube em thats all he is able to do :( thats what he did last time and it lasted about a good 2 weeks of no squeks.. So in my fury i called Mazda USA and told them about the issue and how it needs a pernament FIX.. gave him the part numbers all you recamended now he is "reaserching it" so if he comes back and gives me bulls*** mazda is going to pay via lawsuit.. i seriously have a lawyer lined up.. its simple there breaking the law.. its under warenty they put in bad parts.. there at fault so lets see what they come up with....

By the way part numbers i found via this board are:
bushings front:
BN7H-34-156
bushings rear:
BN7H-28-156D

suspension rear:
MZ BN7H-28-700A - DAMPER(R)
MZ BN7H-28-900A - DAMPER(L)
MZ B25D-28-390B - RUBBER (L)
MZ B25D-28-380B - Rubber (R)

FIGHT THE POWER!

There is a fix avlb. All your dlr needs to do is look. There is a info bulletin or they can call their tech line.

Insider you sure on this cause when i talked to edwin @ mazda it didnt seem like there was anything on the bulliten yet.. however he past the parts off to my dealership im going to call them tommarrw to see what there going to do there still in "the research stage"

they are pissing me off big time too.......... hey...you are not alone..... god dammit i want a FIX NOW! even if not a fix now i at least want them to just TRY........ they wont even replace my strut mounts ......

Positive. I gave Edwin the info after you spoke to him. Your dlr should have it now. Or at least no where to look.

I swear If dlr's took the time read 1/2 of the info we send them 90% of the problems out there would get fixed on the 1st visit. I'm sorry you had to get so frustrated the info has been out there for at least 6 months

Initial33. Sorry cant help you. Wrong distributorship.

Can you please tell me also? i need to talk to my dealer as well..

thanks

Although we share info the Canada they are a seperate Distributor. I'm sure they have the same info avlb. Just make sure you have the dlr call their tech line.

But if you think the noise if from your strut tower That's a different concern. The clunk we addressed in from the swaybar bushings.

Initial it means you, like me, are in Canada and we have to deal with the bafoons up here...Although I think Mazda Canada does have our problem on the computer cuz I had mine fixed by my Toronto dealership this spring....i dont know what else to tell ya

MZ BN7H-28-900A - DAMPER(L)
MZ B25D-28-390B - RUBBER (L)
MZ B25D-28-380B - Rubber (R)

and they said it fixed the problems........ but when i went into my dealership they told me they cant do anything about it.... so im just wondering if theres any info you can help me out with... any would be greatly appreciated... THANKS insider

are you talking about the CLUNK or the SQUEAK ?

they have the clunking problem on their computers but not the squeak....

Intial go read the thread at the link above in 2nd post those where the part that newf used to fixed his problems.. those are the parts i told edwin about im not sure if thats what there going to use yet but what it sounds like from insider MAZDA usa is aware of the issue and they are willing to fix it im sure Canada is doing the same give them a call ask them to check there bulletin or tech line there should be something there! if not show them to this place... they can read and see for themselfs that it is a problem that needs to be fixed and musa is dealing with it

ya i brought those part #s in to my dealer last time and they said the part #s are valid (duh....) but Mazda Canada hasnt released any TSBs on the issue about the squeak (struts) so they cant do anything for me...

and ive also phoned Mazda Canada before... and the dude said " im sorry i cant do anything about that... you would have to talk to your dealer sorry "...................

:bs:

Hey guys, sorry to burst your bubble, but the rear bushings, part 156D, DOESN'T work. It lasted no my car about 1 weeks. Now it's worse then ever.

strut mounts seemed to fix the squeaking through, and I think your right, Mazda doesn't know about it. They will now, because I've written a 3 page letter to them with my customer survey thing they sent me. Their about to get a mouth full, I'll put it that way.

Well now that i got soome of mazda usa attention on this thread.. how many people in this problem have had problems with the shift fork? its obviously another problem with our cars since about half or more people on this board have had broken ones? Insider is this on the list as well cause my shifter does HAVE issues at times and i want to make sure that there ARE no bad parts before my warrenty is UP.....

Awww crap...... then that means Mazda Canada still wont know jack about the squeaking problem.....

newf do you still have a copy of your letter? Maybe i can change some things and send the letter in with my survey too.......i want to give Mazda Canada an earful too...

Great idea but letter is gone. Your better writing your own anyhow. Nothing bossy, or arrogant, just something stressing your frustration, things you've tried, and stress that you've been unimpressed, maybe even lie a bit and say you gave up Mazda Products...I think more people should write to express their concerns,

Throughout dealing with this clunk problem, I have seen some s*** about Mazda of Canada I'm not getting into, and I'm telling you....they don't care about a measly 250 MP3's....we aren't a concern for them, they have admitted it. I know for a FACT! I'm not saying how I know as I don't want to get someone in trouble.

Regardless: Our cars should not clunk. Write off some squeaking due to high end suspension sure.....but the clunk ain't right. No other car does it, so why ours? MP3's aren't the only cars with sway bars and bushings.

My letter went to

Mazda Canada Inc.
Customer Satisfaction
305 Milner AVE Suite 400
PO Box 67244 STN BRM B
Toronto ON M7Y 4N1

Newf no offense but letters can be taken lightly.. if your serious about it call them if they give yo bs keep calling.. it is a problem and IT DOES need to be fixed.. dont stop by sending a letter they may pass over anyway.. call them and verbually talk to them youll get farther and a more rapid responce.. but as Insider said make sure you talk to them and tell them to check the tech lines bullitens what not...
