haha

I hear ya man

only time I have ever had a shop touch my car is to redo my power steering line after it burst (cause I didnt have the tools I needed) and to get the rear end fixed after I got rear-ended (cause her insurance paid for it lol)

other than that! homemade goodness FTW!

Yeah, but those aren't "mods" so its cool. I've had a bearing done at a shop, I really don't have a press laying around lol. I did my whole mods list myself:)

nice, yea it sucks when you dont always have the tools....

but anyways, lets end the threadjack before we get in trouble with antoine lol

Next month, I enter the MPV. Talk about self-pity...

^^^and I got ragged on for not having a spotless interior, I feel sorry for the CX-7 guy... be easy on him.

I've done all my own mods too, even the two-tone paint but I am not willing to call someone who sends their car to a shop to have work done a loser. Just because someone doesn't have the mechanical knowledge doesn't mean they don't have the passion to have a nice car. Just my two cents. And whether you do it yourself or take it to a shop it still takes money.

+1 ive done all my mods myself which all are nothing major, but if i was to do major mods id have to have a shop do it because i dont have the tools or knowledge to just start ripping my daily driver apart and hope it gets put back together correctly. I love working on my car and love the feeling of doing it myself, but sometimes it just calls for someone who knows what to do.

I didn't say ALL your own mods.
Not everyone can weld or do paint.

People who pay other people to do their paint and welding are just posers, not losers.

wow. so, even though i did my last engine swap in 8 hrs start to turning hte key, the fact that i got my front lip painted by a professional makes me a poser?

Yep. Sure does!
Why do you care what I think? I guess I should be flattered.

Lol. You guys are so emo...

I think the guy is trying to be funny. Not the thread to do it in and the more you post the more votes you are losing.

More submissions please and enough with the nonsense..

uhm....I never said there was a consequence

you seemed pretty cool at first dude, but now your starting to turn into a jerk
