Mazda 3 S 5 Door - Manual or Manumatic??

Which should I get? I think the manumatic itself looks sharp and dresses the interior up nicely. I have always driven manuals and I am partial to their performance. Not too mention those who love to drive must have a manual.

However, since this car has the manumatic option, I am rethinking the decision. I travel quite a bit (insurance broker) and while I'm in thick traffic, putting it in auto mode would be nice!

Opinions are appreciated!

GET A MANUAL!!!

I've driven my cousins A6 and used the tiptronic in it. It's nowhere near as good as a stick no matter what people say.

But then again it is you're car. I know sometimes i would like to have a auto for when im stuck in traffic, but that thought goes away as soon as i get out of that jam.

well since ur not racing.. manumatic...
but if gas money is an issue, manual is the way to go (since u travel alot)

First figure out how important it would be for you to have an automatic "just for rush hour traffic". The way I figure, if you know how to drive a stick, get a stick. The manumatic is a nice option, but you'll LOVE driving a 5-spd. Plus it'll save ya about a grand ;o).

IMO, manual's alot more fun to drive, less expensive to fix, less expensive to get, saves you gas... so if you can drive a manual, i don't see why you shouldn't get it.

i have the manumatic and its not bad but not my choice......damn wife....hehe.....but living in a big city when I go downtown its nice to have auto but if you want a more sporty feel go with the manual
