I know what you mean about the Ottawa dealers, they do suck. I decided to go and see what the Ottawa dealers had and it was pathetic. First of all, they don't have any 3's in the showroom, just Protege's which they're having trouble selling, so you have to go look in the back lots (where they try to hide them) to find any 3's. One dealer only had one hatchback and about 4 base model sedans, the other dealer had no hatchbacks and 3 sedans. I asked one of the sales guys why they don't have more stock and why no 3's are in the showroom and he said they don't want to start pushing the 3's until their Protege stock is sold. He said most people don't know about the 3's and they want to keep it like that until they sell their old stock.
If you want to see the 3's and you get a chance go to Albi Mazda (just north of Mtl) they have every single color and model and it's no problem getting a test drive.
