Could a mazda 3 2.3 liter engine fit into a 2001 Ford Focus with minimal modifications? I have the crappy Focus 110 hp base engine and wanted to put the Mazda3/Mazda6 2.3 Liter into it. Got any ideas?

You might wanna try Focaljet.com they can really help you out on that one. I wouldn't wanna put in a Mazda3 2.3L in when you can get a built block. But I do think I read them saying it would be alot of work. Especially ECU wise.
