Max HP on stock internals

LOL, does it basically feel like you're not making as much power as normal at full throttle?

If so, I may have felt it for the first time. I got on it in 4th gear on the highway today and it didn't pull as strongly as I expected. I let off the throttle and got back on it and there was full boost again.

it feels like the car shuts off and then comes back up to power at high boost. it still pulls hard when it wants to.

although the camdriven fuel pump is the reason we're stuck at about 325whp, but internals include crank rods and pistons.

rods is what should be worried about. my attitude is go big or go home.... so soon enough i'll be building up the full motor, going big.

shooting for 450 reliable daily whp. new camdriven fuel pump, new rods and pistons, new spec stage 3+ clutch, electric exhaust cut out and 3" downpipe, 3076r turbo, new TIP, standback unit, and some good tires fo sho.

They are working on it.The fuel pump is good to go,the one in the fuel tank isn`t i think.

I have no idea where I'm going to be when I add the Test pipe and the CPE Standback. I would assume 300-310WHP all day. I'm not worried about the power to the engine since it's already forged, I'm worried about the clutch burning.

so theres your answer. the cosworth engines and engine parts are not designed for nor will they work in the mazdaspeed3, mazdaspeed6 and cx-7

on a different note, here is attached pic showing the factory internals next to a true forged internal. those who still cling to the "forged factory internal capable of 500awhp" nonsense can check this photo out and tell me if they really honestly still believe that.

left : factory sausage link
right : pauter forged rod

also a watch out with how far you go with the clutch. Spec 3+ may be too hard on the trans. Ive seen spec 2+ on mustangs that run 500 tq and it holds forever
