eitherway you are better off with overkill bolt goo than if they just half-ass hand tighten it so it pops out while you are on the highway.

I have seen jiffy Lube do the silicone and Loktite treatment to oil pan bolts they strip out. I would not be surprised if there is a little JB Weld holding that on.

Take it in, watch them do everything.

Of course, it might be as simply as the oil pan bolt gasket needing replacement, and the monkey just siliconed and put loktite on it.

Take it back to the evil monkeys.

I know there is a legal work area for insurance reasons you cannot go back there. But from outside, not sure how they can stop you. They want to hide something, and I think you need to bust them on it.

I know my Gainehell dealer is evil, they alreay ****** up my car once, plus I know of someone they messed up on the vcts screws to the point the car was lemon law'd.

they just take the car to the back and dark side of the dealer so nobody can't even see what they are doing to the vehicles

UPDATE, today i took the car to the dealership and they changed the oil pan, including the bolt, and the engine oil as they had to remove it and filter for free:)

with the money i saved in the oil change i bought some wheel locks as someone tried breaking one (but couldn't (hah) ) (deadhorse

but now i have to replace pads and rotors, my car has 40k miles on it and the discs are gone :(
