Mam Ss

Some more recent pictures:

I'll upload more as soon as I have a chance to clean up the engine bay. (its been raining almost everyday lately. Fall looks like it has come early)

The kit is running GREAT! I don't have the MPI in yet, and keeping it out of boost is harder than I thought. If I give it even some moderate acceleration it will start to spool as soon as 2000rpm.(sounds awsome!!)

But if I didn't know better I would swear it was still stock. Idles & runs just like stock.

I did get one MIL code, but the MIL eliminator circuit has corrected that problem.

The car has been on the hiway several times and I have had zero problems with the kit so far (knock on wood). No leaks, No idle problems, no hesitation

I can hardly wait till I can install Nick's MPI Tuner and go Boostin'.

BEAU, YOU DA MAN!!!

Thanks to Beau and Pdhaudio83 for all thier help during the install. Even if I PM'ed them on the forum, I recieved a very quick responce from both of them.

Latter,
Steve

Nick needs to modify them before he sends them out to us. I'm sure he does other business besides MPI tuners, so its understandable that it may take a week or 2 before he can find the time to modify more units and send them out. But I can't wait to get mine. Boost Here I Come!

how can you drive on the high way without hitting boost? could you waste gates it to 3-4psi and run it like that without to much risk invovled?

It won't go into boost unless you mash the gas. Cruising on the highway does not draw too much fuel.

no problem! Glad to see another MAM kit up!

I got my kit pretty much squared away today as well, fixed the gaskets and no more leaks!! :D

6psi coming soon.

he was going to... in the pic its hard to see with the heatshield.

i didnt connect them on mine. i live in michigan ;)

looks nice. did you end up tapping into a coolant line for the turbo or not yet?
Nope, not yet. I need to find someone local with the right braded line.

I've now had a chance to show my car in a few local Show & Shines and let me tell you, this kit draws attention! No one expects a "wagon" to be done up like this. I can onlt imagine what kind of reaction I would get with the Thumper kit!

I can hardly wait till I can enter it into some competitions next year.

updates??
I'm still waiting on the MPI Tuner to arrive from Nick. But there have been zero problems with the kit so far. Runs just like stock until I accidently hit boost. hehe And even then its only the fact that I start to run lean.

Nick works on a lot of big dog Vipers and mustangs and stuff. And with it being race season, he has his hands full with all of the other work that has been scheduled for up to 8 months or more in advance. He is responsible for the fastest all motor street Viper on the east coast. So you can see he is quite busy, but he will come through.

I have no doubt he will come through for us.

update: I will more than likely be running a full ss kit soon. :) I already have the entire FMIC, intake, and MPI installed so basically we're talking about the hot parts.

<--- excited!
