THX the LORD!!! geez now i dont have to settle for "[complaining little boys voice] 2.5 is all you need 3 inch is pointless [/complaining little boys voice]

I would definately buy it, it looks great and prolly sounds great but... Emissions. I know I wouldn't pass in Ohio with that.

Glad to see stuffs r finally coming out for msp now.. injen intake, fmic kit from a few companies, now turbo back exhaust, and tuners like joe that provide us things to help hesitation...... gonna be a hard working summer to get everything :P

fmic kit? who makes one of those for our msp's?

Is what is on the website for $695, what he has installed on his mazdaspeed? Or is the exhaust on his mazdaspeed a different one that we are waiting for the price on?

Thanks for answering my questions Afaceinthecrowd.
Yes, this is a bolt-on unit being sold by www.magnusmotorsports.com
The entire exhaust has been jigged and is ready for anyone to purchase as whole or downpipe only.
As for the price, Marco has not set down a final price - call him in about a weeks time.
I have not dynod the car as yet, I only picked it up tonight.
There has been no occurence of the CEL without the cats in place.

As you may see there is a bung in place for when a wide band will be used.
The only other modifications complted to date is the K&N cone intake, OSOFAST MBC - switched out the JoeP, and this exhaust.
I will try to get a dyno done a some point, but regardless this has brought the speed in xsiv closer.
Once I can get a recorder, will post a sound byte.

So stop asking for prices... CALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL... as for FMIC.. i thought spoolinmp3 is making one... if not i think www.ultimate-racing.com is making one... go check... god knows when it'll be out though

just be cheaper to buy 304 mandrel pipes and apexi n1 muffler and have real N1 sound... as for it being a 2004 mp3 they are wrong also they mistaken it for the 03/03.5 mspeed

thats way too much the system doesnt even have thermal ceramic coating...and who knows how the sound of the muffler will be like after couple thousand miles

Honestly, how much would it cost an exhaust shop to do this?? Even if the bends were crush bends on a 3inch exhaust i think it would be way cheaper and you would see similar results.

what do you all think?

Dyno numbers will be in shortly to show all you player haters.
People always complain in life about this price, about that price for everything that is material in this world. Everyone is constantly looking for a deal. But what you end up with something that you have to pay for twice in the end because the first 'deal' wasn't what you quite expected it to be and needs replacement. I am not one to complain, but what I know and most knowledgable people know is return on investment. I'm not here to induldge in sub standard workmanship and always strive to acquire the leading edge. When you and I maintain this mentality, outsiders always know that what was done was properly and in excellence. And in the end this should put a :) on that face.
Oh, just wanted to say that the exhaust sounds perfect .
