Magnus 3 inch turbo back exhaust installed.

fitment looks damn good. I can't wait for the dyno numbers.

Oh btw, you said you have a GT25R on your MSP? Or do you mean the stock T25 that has ball bearings?

yes it is a GT series turbo and yes dual ball bearing...how do i know this...i have a friend who works for a company that builds aftermarket turbo kits for audi's they use the same turbo for there kits and said mazda made a purchase for a large quantity of GT25's. Note we DO NOT have the GT25R which has a 4" inlet and flows 44cfm...our GT25's only flow 28cfm.

Honestly, how much would it cost an exhaust shop to do this?? Even if the bends were crush bends on a 3inch exhaust i think it would be way cheaper and you would see similar results.

what do you all think?

hell no crush bends mess up the exhaust flow you want the smoothest bends

the quality is good since its 304 stainless just the price for it is too much. an exhaust from another manufacturer such as greddy would have a coating on it just a lil finishing touch dont you think? its a great piece no doubt. just its not known or well known to the mass for quality and sound...it would be great once we hear the sound clip of it. look forward to hearing it.

ain't that a b****:wtf:

and yes that price is astranomical. i know a certain company that won't be seeing any money of mine. hell, it probably cost thing guy about $200 in parts plus his time and materials+time for the jig for it. of course he's making out on the deal, wouldn't be in business if he wasn't but good lord.

when you receive the exhaust does it come with a large bottle of KY and does the company send you a fruitcake at christmas and dance at your wedding?

First wash that hand ..yeck!
Second it's a nice bunt they send and they dispatch strippers to your Bachelor party.

JK I dig the exhaust...but if the same can be had for less then let us know about it Sir Jecky.

Marco is expecting to have my down pipe ready for install in the next week or so.

I agree completely with Mr XsivSpd. In my mind there is no question that the less you pay the shittier the product. Don't cheap out after spending $20,000.00 on a car.

With other cars, I have cut corners and paid for it. I am now educated enough to understand Quality and Craftsmanship.

I will not compromise quality because my kids need to eat...JK (I don't have kids. But if I did...)

Spend now, be rewarded later.

I also enjoy the fact that I got to actually watch as these pieces were being created. So the craftsmanship was experienced first hand. It is a good feeling That is for sure. The opportunity to watch Marco work his Magic makes me appreciate this business and scene even more.

As for the Flexiblilty of the system. I am confident that what ever method Magnus uses, will be reliable and durable.
Please remember that this system is in production. It is available to order. A lot of thought and process went into
this. Just like any other bolt on exhaust system.

It'll be fun to see 2 Screamin' MazdaSpeeds Rip it up!

thar ya go. Racing Beats 3" turbo back exhaust. granted its not completely stainless steel but still. a 3" turbo back system for $750 with claims of 59 hp gains by a well known company that already has products on our car i'll take anyday if its that or some shmo who bent a couple peices of stainless steel and is now over charging people for it thank you very much. i'm too damn lazy to find other exhaust but i know they're out there. i could set up a link to the Top Secret catback for the MKIV supra's that 100% titanium and only weighs 5.7lbs. then again it is $1,900. and sounds like its worth every penny of it too:D

that link is to a RX7 exhaust not mazdaspeed protege. if the final production model comes out with uniform mandrel bent up pipes instead of welded up universal mandrel pieces ill consider it. but for the price i can go order my own t304 stainless and BRAND NAME MUFFLER and make the same exhaust with hollowed out exhaust hangers and ceramic coat the sucker for the price of that one which you also have to add about $50 for shipping. if there were more details on how it was made and what its made up of like the hangers, ceramic coating, gaskets bolts. im sure it makes power since theres a post on it being dynoed just is it a "finished product."
