M6s V6 Issues?

I have seen lots of info for the 4 cylinder, but I was wondering if the stock motor mounts on the V6 have problems too....?(spin) (spin)

I haven't heard much about the v6 motor mounts however...
I have heard of the v6 automatic transmission being a weak link and the v6 fan control module taking a poop often. I believe there is a fan control module recall.
But I think that's all pre 2006.

bearings are a weak link . if you drive the car hard ur synthetic webbing in ur shifter is bound to go once every 6 months . stock clutches are weak . aftermarket support is weak. not to mention everything u can get is expensive . in canada anyway .

Motor mounts are weak, CPE has a great mount for the 6. We have MTX's and have had no issues with our tranies at all, we have however installed the Mazda Short Shifter, which reduces the throws by 40%. Both of our 6s's are 2004, no issues whatsoever, no fan module issues either.

Aftermarket support is not the greatest, but CPE has done a lot for the V6 owners.

ive got the mazda short throw . and the cai . the cai was 700 bucks canadian installed. which i thought as pretty expensive . . going to see what cpe has right after this post. always looking for ways to make my mazda faster.

a few of the aftermarket parts are mazda speed and dealer installed . the cai , shorth throw , exaust.just axle back .up untill a while ago i had the 37mm lowering kit. stage 2 clutch.i know they dont advertise this on the website but u can get it from the dealer. they told me any parts setting of a engine light would void my drivetrain warrnty. so i am kinda straying away from aftermarket untill the end of the year when warrnty is almost over . esp with how unreliable my car is .just got diagnosed with needing a new transmission. which pretty much makes all of the insides getting replaced on warranty. car moves decent though.ide tell u how fast but no one belives me . track opens in two weeks . so ill have time slips posted for everyone to raz me about.
