LSD Questions

I searched around for a while looking for LSD's for the protege and I couldn't find any prices. So could some one let me know who makes some and what they costs.

Secondly, what would installation costs be?

Mazda - Protg 2001-on call Mazda Competition at (800) 435-2508 (CA)

I pulled this off of Quaife's website. Not sure how easy it is to order one thru Mazda Competition.

Mazda also sells one that comes in the Mazdaspeed Protege which will fit, but again, you have to get them to sell it to you since you don't have a MSP.

Let me know how it turns out, this is one of my future mods.

cost me 1200 installed from my dealer. For the MSP one.

they charged me 400 to install and parts were 625.

I personaly love it. great mod, but very costly.

so... $400+$625=$1025... $1200-$1025=$175 they spent on... beer?

I personaly love it. great mod, but very costly.

$1200 installed for an LSD is a great deal. the Quaife LSD alone goes for ~$1300, IIRC...

you planning on coming out the autoX any more?

If you have an engine lift, you CAN install an LSD yourself. As a compromise, buy the LSD and have an independent install the LSD.
