Lowering Springs

I got a buddy whos goin to get coils and has some eibachs hes gonna sell. when u looking to get springs? Ill ask when hes gonna swap his out i think he bought the coils yesterday but ill let you know.

I have Megan's and actually find the ride not bad. The drop is great and I found that the quality was good too.

I went with the eibachs and can highly recommend them (my wife however can not!). The drop is just the right amount and the ride is good. I found mine for around $225 new iirc, just look and good deals can be found. Stay away from the no name brands, as others have stated, you will get what you pay for!

I hadn't taken to time to look at the compression on them yet. One of my local members offered me a set that was 4 months old for $80, he's going to coilovers for a lower drop

Hell for 80 bucks you can't go wrong. Install them and if you don't like them you can get something else. I did some digging on drop and spring rates when I first got my car, I was suprised to find the Megan spring had that much spring rate (280f/230r) compared to stock (140f and 106r).

Ive never tried the megan ones but from what i hear for the price its not a bad deal. My opinion is either wait and buy used or save the cash and buy new. Dont wast your time and money on no name ones do it right the first time youll thank your self for it. Im kinda kicking my self now i went and paid 550 for some tokicos with springs then another 150 on some eibach springs which i never used. My stuts only have like 500mi on them eibachs i never installed. So thats 700 on struts and springs that are practically brand new. Wish i would have just waited and savedthe cash for coilovers. So now unless someone buys my struts and springs no coils for me. Just my 2 cents. I dont know your budget and time frame but if you can wait i recommend doing it.

Yeah, I'm getting them from bthai. His 4month old son rides in the car on those springs so it must not be a big deal. I have a second child on the way which would explain my concern. But I guess we could always take the mazda3, it's very smooth and bone stock

shox.com has eibachs for 210 and free shipping. i just put eibachs and tokico hps on last night. ill post pics in a bit.

What about those M2's? cause i can just get the Eibachs for that much, haha

DOn't buy those M2"s man you will be sorry the ride is very ruff and the Drop is 1.5 inches all around your Car will bottom out left and right plus if you have people in the Back your car will definitely drag and Rub! Go with Eibach Prokit or just buy a really nice soft cushion pillow and sit on it because your going to have a really soar behind if you get those M2's!

yea if i end up getting springs it wont be for a while cause i have to get alot of stuff as well as the springs so that wont be for a while

just remember, maintenance over looks. its cool to have a car that runs, its not cool to have a cool car thats sitting on blocks.

Question about the LS that don't have an extreme drop. Currently rolling on RX8 wheels with 215/35/18 tires and existing springs are from Racing Beat (orig springs for the MP3). Want to update my springs, my current drop on my srpings are front .75-inch and rear .875-inch. Rear drop looks fine but the front has a large gap. Thanks to anyone who can help.....also like to apologize to post my question here.

if your talking to me, im going to end up getting Stagg shocks/struts. not sure on what kinda of springs yet though

Sorry to bump an old thread but I was wondering if anyone had opinions on Tanabe's DF210s? I saw the OP asked about it a couple of times but no reply. Thanks in advance.
