Lowering a MSP

I have a question:

I'm not really looking for a stiff ride where you feel every bump in the road, which i experienced with my last car. If i were to just get Eibach or Tien springs, will the ride be significantly stiffer, or will it be about the same? Thanks guys.

reread this thread that question was already answered.....apparently the racing beat springs are pretty much stiffer then most all the spirngs out there for the protege.....

The ride will be a little bit stiffer. The overall ride with the eibach feels the same as the racing beats that came on the car originally.

Thanks, thats all I wanted to know. I did read through the entire thread, but I was a bit rushed because I had to go to class, and I have a severe case of ADD.

Look! a squirrel......

I just finished reading & it sounds like Sportlines are the best choice. I don't really like iON & I would be skeptical about buying springs from a company that doesn't specialize in them. No one mentioned the Spool springs, but I think that's because they had the problem with the rear ones not lowering or even raising the height. I'd really like to find out the specs on the H&Rs though because I know their stuff is top notch.

yea, so i bought spools forever ago and since the rear sprnigs actually LIFTED my car from its original height i put stock back in the rear. well guess what, having only my front dropped is now unacceptable and i need new springs. Are the eibachs as low as spool in the front? and can u post more pics of MSPs with various springs please, preferably side shots so i can see the rear. Also preferably lighter colored cars (not black) cuz gap doesnt seem to show up as mcuh on black

thx

my eibachs have settled a little more and im satisfied with the drop. one pointer finger snug on each wheel. Keep in mind my finger is kinda skinny...........(i tried typing that like 8 different ways, but they all sound funny.)

i also now have to get the clunk fixed cause it kinda hurried it along a little bit, but i was due for a new bushing soon anyways. I also now need an alignment, i constanly here a vewvewvew when i am slowing down.
