Losing Power or Learning to drive this thing?

Hey guys... stuck at home tonight, wife is out with the girls. I figured I'd hang out and post! lol

SO... back to the question at hand. Am I losing power, or just learning to drive the msp better. Or, is the warmer climate having an effect? Everything is still the same, boosting stock at 6-7 psi. Waiting on my turbo-back exhaust (it will be here next week). Got the mbc and fcd in the drawer just waiting to be installed. Anyways... I did the autox a couple weeks ago, and ever since then I have not had as much torque steer, launching with no wheel hop (that's more driving I think), and taking those turns quicker and smoother. I guess it could be the driving thing, finally getting used to her. Now I think I am ready for more power. ;) Had the car since Nov and have been good about keeping it stock. Like I said above, got some "toys" coming!

Oh well... senseless post.

Cheers... (cheers)

I dunno, sometimes I feel the car is running so freaking great, and other times it drives me nuts. Sometimes I cant believe how hard the car pulls, and other times I feel like Im going to be bucked outta my seat by the hesitation. The car rocks, but it definetely has some quirks I hope to eventually eliminate via mods.

yeah, i agree with spacemonkey. during the winter down here in texas, i had wheel hop like mad at the top of first gear. now that it's gotten warmer though, no more wheel hop. the cooler weather definitely makes a huge difference. the car feels like it's lost a little of its spunk.

Definitely. Today was the first really non-cold day here (hit 70 degrees!), and my car felt like crap...didn't pull nearly as hard as it did even a few days ago, when it was 40.

Yeah its amazing what a diffrence cold dense air makes...makes me wanna consider putting a innercooler spray on my car.

Took the thought right out of my head.

All turbo cars run crappy in hot weather...and with the stock potenzas being a "summer" tire, they really hate cold weather.
When its warm, my tires grip really well, although 1st is still pretty useless.
Back in the winter i could spin/wheelhop all the way through 1st and 2nd. Well until i installed the AWR front motor mount.
