I have an 02 P5 DARK BLUE and looking at getting a set of 17's for it. Trouble is there are basically 4 wheels that I like (from edgeracing.com) and 1 is titanium, 1 is flat black with polished lip, 1 is flat black completely and the other is silver with polished lip and center.

Does anyone have any pics of the dark Blue P5's with titanium or black wheels?

I have been looking for a couple weeks for pics and so far I can't find anything. Not in a huge hurry looking to get something by spring, so if anyone knows on any other deals let me know. Thanks for any and all input.

I recently purchased 2 sets from edge racing, a set of flik wasp and the other was just the flik. Both anthracite, one car green, the other(P5) is red. My experience was terrible, The first set ordered before thanksgiving wasn't complete until a month later, 3 tires showed up, 1 MIA. Granted that wasn't their fault, but taking a month to get the final wheel is. That is just bad customer service, especially when you have another set ordered, speaking of which those arrived rather quickly which I was happy about, then I found out that they mounted the WRONG size tire, needless to say that took time to correct. My opinion is that their prices are ok, but for the piss-poor customer service(only 1 guy who can make decisions(WTF)) and other options out there, I would keep looking. Check out Discount tire or Tire Rack, I know they were a little more, but if I had to do it again I would NOT deal with Edgeracing. I also recommend anyone else looking for wheels to steer away from this company (deadhorse (bang)
(the 2 sites I put up also will show you what your car would look like with the choice you make)

Check my sig - they're gunmetal rims. Personally, I prefer the darker rims (though not black) on the mid blue vs. a silver. However, I would LOVE to have bronze rims on my car. Check out Pretzellogic's car; his is the mid blue as well with bronze rims. Hawt! I also attached a pic that shows the rims better.

If you can, go to a wheel shop and ask if they can put some rims of varying colours up against your car. Even if it's not exactly the style you want, it will give you an idea what you do/don't like against the blue.

Thanks for the input especially about the customer service.. thats a huge selling point with me. Anyone have experience with Wheels Next?

Also thanks for the pictures... I really like the dark rims.. especially with the polished lip.

i just would not go too dark, as the wheel would get lost in the car...;) i would stick to something with a polished lip...

Anyone have input for any of the following vendors?

Wheels next?
Wheel Max?
wheelguyz

Sorry but the tire rack is outrageous and does not have anything I am in love with. My budget is 700$ or so... For 17's I would not expect this to be too hard.

dont **** with wheels next.. they are screwy.. sold me 4 rims when they had 12 in stock... a day later they only had 3 when they went to ship my order.. took a month to get the s*** shipped out to me

man it seems like everyone is bad. I read the above about edgeracing and wheelsnext.. now I find a deal on wheelguyz on another site.. sheez...

thank you for the input... it is greatly appreciated.

do a search for wheelmax here. lots of problems, from a lugnut being the wrong thread requiring the stud being replaced, to wrong wheels. Their sales guys are cool, but after the sale, you are stuck with ghetto bitches who put you on the defensive.

My experience was mediocre in retrospect. Ordered online to get an email that my card was declined. I called in, the guys said it was ok, the website status had the order on hold. I gave him a 2nd card over the phone, same thing. Odd. I called the credit card companies, and I got charged on both cards, and took 2 days of arguing with them to get a credit on one, then to ship the rimes and tires.

I got the rims and tires in perfect shape quickly. Butt hey shook at 40+ mph. had to take them to a local tire shop for rebalancing. The wheels are not dynamically balanced, which was the problem. I faxed the receipt, and 2 weeks later, they credited the card I used.

I would not ever use them again. I have used tires.com for tires once, they were great. tirerackcom gets a lot of good feedback as well.

With a $700 budget, I would keep an eye on the FS section here for a month or so. There have been so many sets of rims I like better than what I have that have come up for sale cheap.

Here are a few pics that I have collected in the past year of different forum members cars!

RicesP5 I agree those are nice, but out of budget... I am in KY and shipping would completely exceed budget.. I appreciate everyones input, I am still lurking the FS section and the vendor review link is awesome, definitely going to spend some time there. I love the subzeros, but again out of range when you add tires.

Then again I am trying to sell my motorcycle.. that could help with the price.. dunno, gonna keep lurking... I appreciate all the help from everyone.

not black but here are some pics of same color car with bronze, ive had them for about a year now, ordered them from rishie off the boards. He has great sevice and rotas arnt that much.

just thought i would throw those rims in since they are nifty.. just lurk around for awhile.. youll find something for pretty cheap

Nice rims, I like the Rota's have looked at several of the FS' here.. so far nothing I can do right now. I definitely like the bronze, which is funny because I have always disliked it in the past.
