Reasons you shouldn't get one:
1: your paint will fade different colors
2. they look horrible (blarf)
3. If you are worried about paint protection from rocks, don't just get the bra ... get the whole car leather body outfit that matches catwoman.

Don't bother looking anymore. They are a waste of money.

dude, you are a complete idiot for posting that advice.

Bull s***
2. they look horrible
Bull s*** #2. Well it may if you plan on ricing out your ride.

Yeah, you made sense and will keep people from buying one.

1. I have used a Colgen Bra and Colgin Mirror Bras on my 98 VW GLX for 3 years. As long as you keep your car washed & waxed and the underside of the bra clean it should have no adverse affects on your paint. Also if it rains take it off!! If you don't the wet bra will have an abrasive affect on your paint and will scuff it up.

2. Looks are a matter of personal preference. I like the way a bra looks.

3. Rocks are not the only problem. There are sand and bugs to contend with. I don,t have to explain about the damage sand can do to paint over a period of years. Were I live in the southern U.S. bugs are the biggest problem. Some bugs have a type of acid in the bodies that will eat right thru a clearcoat if not removed promptly. It's easier for me to wipe off a bra with a wet towel than it is to wash my car daily.

So in my humble opinion the benefits of using a bra outweigh going braless.

wow we have NJ people in here..especially Freehold...whats up susmalls, I;m in Ocean County...anyway. I would suggest to anyone wanting to keep their front end pristine to look into 3M's Clear Paint Protection Tape (http://cms.3m.com/cms/US/en/2-168/czuzlFH/view.jhtml). You'll never know it's there. They also have tape for the headlights. I wish I invested some money into one because my front end and headlights look pretty bad.
