While I was at the dealership for another reason, I was doing a walk around and noticed my right rear rotor having some grooves so I brought it up to my serviceman and they noticed the brake pad was defective which was starting to groove the rotor, they order new pads and will turn the rotor. Only 1,000 miles and already have some defects!!!

inspect your wheels before it too late (shocked)

Man, if that were ME, with 1,000 miles on the car, I'd be demanding a new rotor. If they machine it, that's less life in that particular rotor for future wear.

It was obviously a defect so I'd raise a stink. :bs:

Well Besides seeing the grooves, I pass my fingernail over it and felt the grooves, as for new rotor; since it's in the system and if my rotor wear out faster than normal or the other 3 then I'll bark real loud but the grooves were not deep and they were able to clean them out, yeah! I might loss some mm of rotor but that's not much.

By then you will have a problem proving it was the reason...

Now is the best time to get it delt with..
