MSCW Autocross up in Frederick on Sunday and then next Sunday is the Monthly Brunch & Drive in Fairfax. I don't know of anything on either Sat. locally.

i have been wanting to try out some autocross, i want to finish installing a few goodies first.

I've seen one cicada so far in my area and I'm surrounded by trees. I'm not concerned. I doubt that a swarm of them is going to descend on your car and scratch the paint, they're not exactly fast moving.

I don't think we're supposed to be hit with the massive 7yr cicada emergence this year, just the yearly. I'd have to check with a friend of mine that is an authority on cicadas to be sure though.

no but when im driving my car 80mph and eleventy bazillion of them are flying everywhere it can do some damage. There arent many out now. 99% of them are supposed to appear within one day some time in the next week. When that happens my P5 is going in the garage till they are gone

dunno about eating them , but theres atleast 10 - 15 shells clinging to the wall out side my apt at this very moment. i grew up in FLA we had love bugs.... billions they glue there ass's together and swarm in pairs . i remember one year over heating in my brand new car because my radiator was clogged with guts. people would pull over and scrape there windows with ice scrapers.

gawd this is gonna suck. Im extremely anal about the front of my cars and bugs. Its bad enough now with the usual bugs...I havent seen any cicadas yet.

Thats why i have about 3 coats of wax on my car and I put at least one new one on every two weeks. Keep it nice and slippery
