Local dealership

I feel bad for anyone that lives in Kansas and has to take there cars to the dealerships. I took my car to the local dealership to get my headlights replaced cause the bulbs went out, and told them that I had put after market bulbs in it cause they had gone out on a Sunday and the dealership wasn't open. So, I call them back a few hours later and they proceed to tell me that they tested the wire and everything up to the connector and it had power all the way to the bulb, but they had found the reason my headlights quit working. They told me that the bulbs and clips that hold in the bulbs had fallen out out of the headlight and the only way to get new clips was to order a whole new headlight assembly. I was very confused, so I went to look at it and found out the people that work there are freakin idiots. They thought that the place for the foglights was where the lowbeams went and I had to argue with them and show them on my wives car what bulb they were trying to fix and what bulb was actually out. Needless to say I will no longer be going to that dealership.

sucks man..I had a bad dealership too.. I almost sold my car because of it

I am pissed. I mean I can take my car to another dealership, but it is like an hour away and I don't want to use that much gas to get to a dealership. I am gonna call the manager of the dealership today and tell him how I feel about his mechanics. That is complete bullcrap, if they aren't smart enough to know where the headlight bulbs go, then I don't want to know what happens when they have to fix something major with someones car.

I frickin' hate dealerships. they have no idea what they are doing. You would think they know the cars they sell, but usually a good mechanic at a private garrage will end up knowing more than the dealership mechanic where the car was purchased.

Yep I had to search dealerships for a "Decent one"
