Hi everyone! I have been thinking about doing certain things to my white M2. I don't have any engine mods done, so I don't want to turn my car into a rice rocket or anything. I was thinking about slightly lowering my car and perhaps get a lip? I want to know what types of lips there are. I don't want anythng too flashy. I like it subtle.

Also, how would I go about lowering my car? Would I have to buy springs? What's the price estimate for this process? I'm in bay area, CA.

If you guys have good ideas on what I should do with my car, let me know! Right now I only have my windows tinted. (angel)

First things, first. California is one of the most restrictive states in the country when it comes to what you are allowed to do.

Check your state laws. You may be limited as to what you can do and how far you can lower.

Yes, you do need (at least) new springs to lower the car. Different springs lower different amounts. If you lower too much or put on much stiffer springs, the shocks will crap out early

Take a look at H&R, Eibach, Corksport, and Racing Beat.

Coilovers, while more expensive, include shocks matched to the springs.
