Ok, apearently there has been some mis-information spread around about how I run my Haltech, and it is time to clear it up. Some folks seem to think that I have about 5 maps that I keep on my laptop to get my car to run depending on the weather. Not true. This info probably surfaced over a year ago when I was still doing the initial tuning, and was in Arizona. It's no secret that when you have a stand alone, you have to tune it to start properly in different weather conditions, and I was only beginning back then. I had to load a different map to get my car to start at the Mental Addiction Dyno day, and everyone saw. So, all the maps I had in place were to keep track of me trying different things, and seeing if they worked...Period. Most of the time, the weather is so jacked up in Texas, that there is no pattern where you will be able to tune for one weather temp... I have seen some amazing things here locally with the Haltech on Protege's with no issues. I changed my EMS, because I had always planned on getting a Stand Alone, and the opportunity came. I like the control I have over EVERYTHING, and the functions.
