Yes, they are supposed to be working on a new album, but no real news towards that, Also if this sparks your interest, mike shinoda is working on a solo album as well, dont know what its gonna be about, but i guess well have to see, LP does kick ass.

i am glad to hear they are working on something. they are my favorite band. i still listen to their past albums like they were new.

i am an lp fan, have seen them live a number of times... as far as the comments being made that it was a "made" band such as nsync and s***, that does have some truth because as i understand it the record label did introduce the band to chester (the lead singer) and thought they would be a good mix, the band did have another album prior to chester i believe but it wasn't with the lp name...

just thought i would add my .02 to this mess...
