ok, I know these are pretty good but a bit to much for my budget.......

Anyone have Skunk2 or something else less expensive???

Check ebay. If anything it would be best to save that extra few hundred dollars and do it right the first time. Instead of having to replace something a year or two after.

the skunk2s and ground controls really NEED to be paired with a good upgraded strut, or you'll be riding around with no shock absorbers VERY quickly, so you're already looking at like $500 or so for struts and coilover sleeves. like HKPro said, you're better off going to full, real coilovers if thats your goal. Otherwise look for a good set of drop springs and call it a day.

i know this is going to sound weird, but here goes, wagon, i agree with you
whew! that was hard lol

but seriously, the Ground control coilover sleeves are just that, sleeves, they fit over the strut and have tiny ass springs which is how they lower your car so much, but to keep your shock from bottoming out constantly they make the spring incredibly stiff so your ride is def. not going to be comfortable on less then perfect roads
they also take away from suspension travel, which isnt too good, and it increases the risk of blowing the strut out

i have them on my car, i like the way they make my car look, but i can imagine the ride with coilovers would be much quieter and much smoother

any coilover is going to give you a harsh ride, be it a sleeve or a legit full setup, they use a LOT stiffer springs because travel is more limited, and its designed to comprimise more toward handling and less toward comfort.

glad you bit the bullet on that one btw!

Ok, so if I understand right, a new set of struts with the Skunk2 for example will be a good ride but stiff.... The skunk2 are gonna be ok with speed struts ??

ok thx for all the info guys, appreciate it! Oh and last question, I have the MSP rims on my P5 (love them) , with these rims wich camber kits would be the best match for price/quality ??

Still looking for Skunk2 or somethin similar???

the tokicos will work OK with either the ground controls or skunk2s.

I use the word "OK" with purpose here. won't be great, but OEM struts will blow in no time and then you'll have basically no shocks, which is unsafe, uncomfortable, and looks pretty stupid too.

Ok, I'll see how long they will last! What about the camber kit ?? How much it costs and wich kit give the best quality/price ratio ??
Thx for the info :P
