It will give you motivation to become #1 again. hehe

Maybe after the KL/turbo swap when I can haz more horse powa. But I'm actually glad I'm learning this stuff with my slow P5, it's a lot easier to manage. But I'm not a very competitive person. I'm just glad Evan#2 is so damn fast! Haha When are you going to come out, Jake? And did you finish your KW swap yet?

Guess you aren't very baller then...
When did I ever claim to be? How's your weaksauce build coming along? Oh snap!

Your car looks so sick man, good job at the autox's too!
Thank you, even though imjustagirl should get the appearance credit since she did all the work. Any tips about auto-x or track days you have would be much appreciated! :)

Since it was cool and sunny today (earlier at least) I finally swapped in my StopTech SS brake lines, Russel speed bleeders and painted the calipers. Thanks for the lines, CR3! That darn rear caliper was a little seized and I snapped the new speed bleeder off in it so I had to get a new one from Autozone. Good news is they have lifetime warrantees so if it starts to seized up again that b**** is getting swapped out. Haha.

It's raining now so no test drive, but I had them on my last P5 and it had great brakes. This setup is even better with the Hawk HP+ pads. Even though I haven't had a chance to really use them without a track day.

Onto the pics;

Well I am humbled that you would even seek my advice lol I am not much of an autox'er. I raced go karts my whole life so its a pretty different beast. Now that I have a car that can handle the track though its been good to be back.

My best advice is SEAT TIME! No point in having a super awesome car if the driver can't handle it. Thats the biggest downfall of people in the Time Attack series' we have up here. Go to track days, get instruction, go for rides in other peoples cars and ask questions and opinions. Next would be a good racing seat. If you dont have a cage or roll bar just run the stock 3 point belt with it, it is what I do and it is more than adequate. You seem to have the basic stuff like good brake pads and tires and such figured out so I am sure the driving stuff will come quick to you!

Enkei RPF1's and Racing Hart CP-03's have been my dream wheels ever since I got into this game with my Honda back in 2000. I actually sold my upright bass (it sounded poopie anyway) to buy the Enkei's from Jon. I love them, a bit more than the Rays, but they're just too fragile for street wheels. But who knows, I might switch it up when it's time to buy new tires. The Star Specs are pretty much toast now.

I got the AutoPower roll bar from Damian today down at Greyhound. T'was a good deal and was planning on buying one anyway so I picked it up. Not sure what I was thinking when I went to go pick it up in the Milly though. I didn't realize it's one welded bar. Thankfully Wes was picking up a MSP front sway at the same bus stop so we rolled down together. It was pouring and after struggling to put it in the Milly we put it in the 626 and it fit, barely. Haha.

Looking forward to installing this sometime. Thanks again, Wes and Damian! :)

yeah i gotta agree... IMO the RPF1's just look better, not saying anything bad about the rays cause they are nice wheels but i just like the RPF1's better on your car

+1 couldn't say it any better myself, although I'd be happy with either set

Sorry its not directly related to evans car, but in a way they are, a piece of the p5 now lives in NH.

Got the wheels this morning and got my g/f's tires mounted on them and on the car. Thanks again Evan and as I told you earlier great job packing them up for shipping. Greatly appreciated.

sweet! repaint it please! lol.

How is the auto power attached to the body? I'm hoping the body is sandwitched between a 6x6 plate and the plate on the roll bar
