you know you want a second one for the milly

Haha, well it's actually OBD1 only. I've got a 93 PGT engine harness for the P5.

Aww yeah, roof rack deletes coming from the great white North. JT (bikingpro5) asked his friend to snag me a set from a junkyard. Then his friend shipped them to JT and he shipped them to me today. Again, I can't thank you enough, mate. (2thumbs)

Speed3 seats are in it currently. I got them for a great price from Levi and Wes welded up the brackets saturday. I just need to clean them up, paint the welds and remount. But I love them so far. Pics later tonight. :)

Getting the old P5 and Speed3 brackets off was a b****. But with the drill press at work, my handy grinder and a BFH, they gave in and came off. Haha. I still need to clean up the welds, paint them black and put the plastic covers back on. But I love the seats so far. I think I sit up a wee bit higher, but I'm used to how low the Milly seats are.

I'm sure eventually I'll swap them out for some fixed back racing seats and 5 point harnesses but these look and feel good and were a good price. :)

Here's a couple pics of Wes welding them up.

He welds with fireworks.

Hey Evan, when are you stripping the paint off the car to get it ready for that respray?

We're going to tackle it next weekend. The original paint is in such good shape, all I need to do is buzz over it with some 600, scuff it up, and shoot the new color. Piece of cake!

Any pics of the outcome? I'm curious to see Josue's work on the car. I've heard lots of good things of Josue's painting skills from previous Ohio folks.

That brain aneurysm you got after reading that finally subsided enough for you to respond, huh?

Evan's having a hard time deciding on a new color, so I'm going to make up a few spray outs at work to help him get a feel for what the car could look like. He doesn't want a factory P5 color, he wants to be different. We'll be sure to keep you updated though, we all know how much personal stake.....you.....have in the car.

He should make up his mind before the engine swap so that the engine bay can be sprayed as well. What color is he thinking? A shade of Blue, Red, Silver/Gray? What?

Good thing it will be a while before the swap. If it takes as long to make a decision on a color as it does to do most any work on his car.....
