i would not rino line them, if you are going to change the cage to a different color have them redone in powdercoat/paint. That way they wont scratch and you can have everything match. IMO the orange stands out too much.

My GT Spec cage came in the same way (blue/orange hybrid). I had mine powdercoated gloss black. I'll see if I can find any pictures...

Then I drove it to a Mazda meet Saturday and got awesome gas mileage. Marc had a very good point of just driving it with the FS-DE at the track until it pops. Then swapping in the KLDE. Especially since I need to work on my driver mod. And I just got AAA so the tow would be cheap.

Even tho my opinion is s*** and doesn't matter, I'd agree with this. You mention working on the driving mod a lot, but talking about it doesn't get it done. Hope you get the car out there next event.

next NORA event is May 6, but it conflicts with the meet. After that the next one is May 20, I don't know about Marc but I'll be going to that one. Bring your car and start getting into it (no you won't get lost in the sea of cones)

i'm willing to bet that is a freak of nature FSDE and as long as it is full of oil it will run forever. It will be interesting to see how it holds up to auto-x...just be careful of the left turns on low oil.

btw evan, i am getting along just fine without my plane hauling vehicle lol

its got 220k + on it and the rings are on their way out. Wouldnt call it a reliable back up plan. Kinda like pulling out..

Imjustagirl, amazing job on that car. Tastefully modified, up kept like no other 200,000 car I've seen. The Mazdaspeed grill, lip and that are hood so sexy together.
