That's great and all, but I have the JDM MX-6 tranny. Haha! Thanks though, mate. :)

Doh! You have the xedos motor, whoops.

The MX6 and 626 have the same gears, from what I've read. I've hit 60mph on the gauge in second on mine (stock tires), but redline on mine starts at 6500. The PGT trans is what you want, with that 4.38 final drive.

These are the ends of my gears at redline, from what I've observed
1st-30
2nd-60
3rd-80
4th-105
5th-?

1st to 2nd is almost doubled, but I'm not sure how gearing maths work yet. Research is required!

Thanks for the comments about the vid, too, guys.

Assuming a 205/45/16 tire and an 7000rpm redline here's the difference in the Probe GT and MX6
Gear: PGT/MX6
1st: 34/36
2nd: 61/64
3rd: 85/90
4th: 108/115
5th: 141/149

:D

Justin, thanks for the video, man. Yeah, your ZE would smoke my DE. Haha. If you can get more video with better audio that would be sweet. Which flywheel are you running?

Larry, okay, she has a fast-ish color. But your excellent driving skills make her a "faster than mine" car. :)

Wes, thanks for posting the pics, man. You always do a good job with the shots.

Ryan, thanks man. You gotta get rid of those stock P5 seats. I hated them. Haha. Anything would be better than P5/MSP seats. They are like benches and our cars are supposed to be "sporty". No bolstering at all and my bum would be numb after 2 hours of driving.

im just running a stock mx6 flywheel. Since it was going to be a few more weeks for the mx3 one to come in at autozone, and I bought it the week we did the swap.

I'll second the whole seat thing. After sitting in my speed3 seats, I don't think I could EVER go back to P5 seats. It's such a huge difference.

^^^ Nope. If the needle pegs at full it's supposed to be wiring wrong according to Prosports website and the forums. But I tried a ton of different ways to wire up the green wire and ground wire and I'm still not getting the right signal to the gauge. I wonder if the sending unit is shot... But I'm sure Steve wouldn't sold it to me if it didn't work. I need to try messing with it again.

I also need to look into a solution to lean out the motor. I'm running really rich around 13.8 around town cruising and sometimes in the 12's while on the highway. MS might come sooner than expected...

Are they the correct size injectors? If the injectors are too big, that could cause a difference at all times.

evan, you could always invest in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. That helped me out quite a bit.

Phen, they are the stock injectors.

Justin, if I got a FPR, would that be okay to lean it out with? I don't want to fark anything up. And speaking of fuel, you're still running your Protege fuel pump without any problems right?

Maybe I should replace the rear 2nd O2 sensor first and see if the computer will lean it out on it's own. Right now I've got the front 1st and 2nd O2 sensors in with the non-fouler on the 2nd sensor. And the 1st O2 sensor on the rear and no 2nd O2 sensor (it's capped right now). And my motor doesn't have an EGR but the USDM KL47 ECU is looking for one. And would cause a CEL. And I've heard that a CEL will cause the motor to go into "safe mode" and run rich. Is that true?

correct on the pump, I run an adjustable fpr, and have it set at like 41-42psi at WOT, I have AFRs around 13 at WOT until about 6k then drops to like 12.5. I get like 14.2-14.6 while cruising and idle.

That sounds perfect, Justin. Thanks man. I'll look into piecing one of those together. Unless you wouldn't mind sharing your shopping list, buddy? ;)

I made a quick little video with my cell on my way to my GF's house. The quality isn't all that great but meh. This is a fun little on ramp down the road from my house. As you can see I only got up to legal speeds. :)
