Phen, those pics are epic. I love the packing slip on the rear window. My dad and uncle would s*** themselves if I got a container delivered to work with a Sport20 in it. Muahaha.

The AWD is certainly something I want to tackle. The turbo will be first next year. Well, a 626 with a manual tranny as a DD will be first, then I can tear apart the P6 and completely re-do the engine bay, wire tuck, strip everything and Megasquirt and boost.

I will definitely be there to take pictures of their faces if you decide to get the Sport20!!

I assume you mean 626 with a V6 and manual. If you get a 4 cyl, it's going to be a downgrade in powa, even from when your P6 was a P5 (without the MP3 ecu). And I don't mean just in the fun department, I mean getting passed left and right by moms in minivans, having trouble passing on the highway, etc. I hate it. The GF should be similar to the P5, since it has 130, but mine's only got 118, and it's no fun. I didn't see any on craigs today, there was a GF with a G4 and an auto, 118k miles I think, and no price (dealership) but I doubt you want to do a manual swap for the DD. One will come along eventually, but there aren't many v6 626's with a 5 speed that aren't super high on miles, or aren't wrecked, etc. It'll be worth it when you find one, tho, cus hey, swing vents.

The re-done engine bay, wire stuck, strip, MS and turbo has me feeling like a 13 year old boy in a strip club. I'm excite!
 
No rush, Wes. I'm not buying a DD until next summer. I shouldn't limit it to a 626 but I would love a KL manual and I really like the way they look. I want to stick with something I know. So a Honda is also an option (I'm an ex-Honda guy with 3 Civics before the P5, heh-heh). But no rush.

Bout all that has in common is that it's Mazda. It doesn't have manual, either, and it's some 3.0L that was in a minivan or something, and it's totally underpowered for the size, just like the Milly.

I dig the Honda DD idea, too, but unless it's an Si, none (that I've experienced) are any fun without a swap. I couldn't bear to drive a stagnant DD. I mean mine certainly isn't fast at all, but it handles alright.
 
Wes, you crack me up, man. A DD is supposed to be reliable, comfortable, quiet and blend in. I would probably swap in a short shifter and that's it. I want something I can park in a parking lot in Cleveland without worrying someone is going to steal it or draw any attention. I'm not worried about how fast it is, or else I wouldn't have bought my P5 in the first place. haha, zing.

Again, this is a year away so I'm jumping the gun already. I just wish the Milly's didn't have automatics. Yuck.

So you want a sleeper swap. Not every car has to have a straight pipe exhaust and carbon fiber lol. Just bustin yer balls.
 
I've noticed the 626 sub-forum is dead here, same with the MX-6. Pretty much everything with a KL. Boo. I'll sub to your build thread on 626.net then. Send me a link, yO. And thanks for the pic and for cropping out most of the rust. ;) Now I have a decent pic for when cats ask how my wheels look since my cell never takes a decent pic of black wheels.

It is sad to see that sub forum so dead..I would post in there if I had anything to post at the moment, lol. I should have a couple things to liven up that subforum though. I should have pics and details about the Coil On Plug conversion that I am doing, along with pics of my 'new' '95 GT that I will hopefully have running in the next couple weeks, once the MS3/MS3x setup is done.

You would be my hero if/when you do. Every time I'm on the highway I'm like "Disty, please don't fail me now!". Haha. And you can always post pics and post anything KL related in here (in fact, please do). I still drool every time I see a PGT, MX-6, 626 or Milly on the road.
 
Because of the KLDE potential. I've spent a lot of time on ProbeTalk.com and the OG members (like JK) really know their s***. I know you said there are a lot of riced out PGT's in your area, Adam. And that's a shame, but it doesn't mean I will like them any less. Hell, with all the riced out Hondas out there I still get a chubby over a clean Honda. :)

But different strokes for different folks, man. No worries.

Okee dokee, please do. I've never even seen a Probe at a cruise-in over here yet. I just don't want you to think I was bashing you or anything. Sometimes text can be read differently. I have to be careful of how I word things sometimes or else it comes across like I'm being a dick. Which 90% I'm not. heh-heh
